Surrogates for President George W. Bush and U.S. Sen. John F. Kerry brought the presidential race to Temple Emanuel Oct. 17, sparring over hot-button issues like Iraq, Israel and the candidates' fitness to lead.
The Worship Committee offers a menu of Shabbat worship services that it hopes will satisfy each congregant’s taste, including a family service, a Kol Emanuel service featuring Temple's own band performing contemporary Jewish music, and a service featuring the new Mahler Family Band.
