Jewish Music Festival
AYRE with DAVID KRAKAUER
We are honored to have the Pittsburgh Jewish Music Festival open here at Temple Emanuel with clarinetist David Krakauer joining soprano Lara Bruckmann and Pittsburgh Symphony members performing "Ayre," a song cycle by Osvaldo Golijov that combines Christian, Arab and Jewish texts from 15th-century Spain into a "moving work about religious harmony." The program also includes Alexander Krein's "Jewish Sketches" and a Sephardic piece by Pittsburgh composer David Stock.

$20 general, $15 senior and $10 students
DISKIN MUSIC FUND— Established by Betty Diskin in memory of her husband, Arthur & their sons, William & Robert. This fund provides music, music education, essential supplies & funds special musical programs for services, Temple Emanuel Torah Center & special events.
