Temple members and Friends are invited to attend Brotherhood’s Fall Brunch with guest speaker Ilene Winn- Lederer, local artist and author of “Between Heaven and Earth ~An Illustrated Torah Commentary.”
Ilene's unique drawings and paintings are included in private and public collections throughout the United States. For five years she focused her studies and extraordinary illustrative skills on the creation of this book. A lively and colorful tapestry of words and images, “Between Heaven and Earth ~An Illustrated Torah Commentary” is a richly illustrated interpretation of the Torah, the first five books of the Bible. In this one-of-a-kind publication, Winn-Lederer approaches the Torah from a perspective both traditional and modern.
