Grandparents Circle
The Grandparents Circle is an education and support program for Jewish grandparents whose adult children are intermarried. Created by the Jewish Outreach Institute, the Grandparents Circle debuts in Pittsburgh this fall as a joint program of the Agency for Jewish Learning, Jewish Family & Children's Service, Temple Sinai and the Jewish Community Center.
Participating grandparents will learn skills and techniques to share their Jewish heritage and nurture their grandchildren's Jewish identities. The sessions will address techniques for listening and talking to adult children, ways to incorporate Judaism into everyday conversations and how to create Jewish memories around the holidays and the home.
