This new program, offered by our Social Action Team, will have organic produce from a local farm delivered to Temple Emanuel for pick-up by the participating Temple members
This new program, offered by our Social Action Team, will have organic produce from a local farm delivered to TempleEmanuelfor pick-up by the participating Templemembers (minimum 15 families). The Social Action Team has made arrangements with Kreschmanns (the largest local farming establishment for organic fruits and vegetables) to deliver orders directly toTempleto be picked up on Fridays, starting in June until mid-November, from3to7 p.m.The subscribers would have their individual boxes packed and labeled.
Templemembers who have used this service say that the quality and variety of produce has been excellent and the recipes included are fun and tasty. This is a program that is good for the farmer, good for the congregation and is open to any community members as well. You may want to share an order with other family members, friends and/or neighbors.
