At our Annual Meeting in June, our Congregation

approved a deficit budget, knowing it would be

necessary to fundraise throughout the year in

order to avoid a dues increase.

Our first fundraiser, this Holiday Raffle, will begin lessening the deficit and you may win some great prizes:

1^st Prize$1000 in Giant Eagle Gift Cards

2^nd Prize$ 750 in Giant Eagle Gift Cards

3^rd Prize$ 500 in Giant Eagle Gift Cards

Tickets and money must be returned to Temple Emanuel office by Wednesday, December 9, 2009

to be eligible for the drawing.

Purchase the tickets yourself, or sell them to

friends, family and neighbors!

$10 per ticket or a book of 12 for $100.

This is only a glimpse of what it costs:

$10—to honor or remember a loved one through one of our funds; 

$36—one new Mishkan T’filah prayer book (including book plate for dedication);

$136—Shabbat candles for Friday evening services (one year);

$450—one Torah Center Scholarship;

$3,000—Bus for Confirmation class trip to Washington D.C.

$5,000 average cost of heating for one month during the winter;

$5,000—yearly landscaping charge

$10,000—snow removal
