Temple Vice President, Robin Gordin-Minutello, member of our community together with husband Rick Minutello and children Elizabeth and Ryan, has been selected to represent our congregation for the United Jewish Federation of Pittsburgh (UJF) “Volunteer of the Year” award. This award celebrates the work of outstanding volunteers in all Jewish organizations and Synagogues, who are contributors to the UJF Annual Campaign.

Robin’s dedication to Temple Emanuel is truly inspirational. Despite working full time and raising a family, she’s always pleased to give of her time, energy and creativity. A past assistant treasurer, she is now in her second term as one of four vice presidents. She has been involved with and overseen the Caring Community, our Judaica Gift Shop, financial secretaries, treasurer, WRJ Sisterhood, fundraising, Jacob’s Ladder, cemetery and the Sajowitz Endowment Fund.

Robin has been instrumental in organizing our Labor Day picnics as well as our highly successful silent/live auctions at our major fundraising events. She’s been an active participant in the budget planning process. Robin’s warmth, smile and sincerity at Shabbat services and all Temple events represents the welcoming atmosphere that so enhances our community.

In the greater community, Robin is a dedicated volunteer within the Scouting Program.

Please join the Jewish Community in showing our appreciation to

Robin Gordin-Minutello
